Role: Owner/Director responsible for a portfolio of varied clients.

Experience: Wide range of experience in General Practice with many different industry sectors, including start-ups and charities.

Specialisms: Providing advice and support to charities, including accounts preparation, audit, independent examinations and bookkeeping/ VAT.

BACKSTORY

After joining a local firm in 2011 as an AAT apprentice, Melissa qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 before joining The Richards Sandy Partnership in 2017 as a Client Manager. Promoted to an Associate in 2019, Melissa took over management of the firms not-for-profit clients as well as building her own portfolio of sole trade and company clients. Melissa has now been appointed in her new role as Director from 2023.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

Loves to be outdoors enjoying various activities as a family, such as canoeing, exploring new places and taking a very energetic Labrador Layla walking.
