Accounting & Audit
At the Richards Sandy Partnership (RSP) we have an experienced Team who will ensure your accounts comply with current standards and are always filed on time.
We act for an extremely wide range of differing businesses both in size and sector so will be sure to have somebody well-placed to take care of your individual needs.
We can work with your internal finance team or prepare your accounts from core bookkeeping records and most importantly can flex our service to your requirements.
Audit and Assurance
As well as fulfilling statutory requirements, our aim is to provide an independent opinion on a company’s annual accounts.
We have a very experienced Audit team that contain the most upto date technical knowledge and ensure this is tailored to meet the specific demands of each client.
RSP not only offers Statutory Audits, but also Professional Sector Audits (Law Society Solicitors Accounts Rules), grant claims and other non-statutory Audits.
We are registered auditors in the UK and Ireland, regulated by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
Limited Companies
If your business is structured through a limited company, we will ensure that a robust set of statutory accounts is prepared by our team of qualified accountants in-line with the current reporting requirements.
We will always offer a year end meeting as a matter of course to make sure the accounts are fully understood, and allow you an opportunity to discuss any recent developments or raise any queries.
Sole Traders and Partnerships
Sole trader and Partnership accounts will typically be prepared by our Small Business Services team in conjunction with our Personal Tax team.
Charities
We act for a large number of clients of varying sizes across the UK in the Charity and not for profit sector.
We appreciate that your time is best spent serving your charity’s objectives but this is becoming more difficult in the face of increasing legislative and regulatory pressure. We are here to provide guidance and help share the burden for all of the statutory requirements that come along with preparing the financial statements and Charity Commission returns, whilst ensuring that your trustees, staff and volunteers have the support they need all year round.
Mis-managed charities in the media have pushed accountability and governance issues to the forefront of people’s minds. As your accountants, we recognise the importance of maintaining independence enabling us to challenge opinions and make recommendations to ensure that the issues you face are able to be tackled in the best, most appropriate and efficient manner.
We have an in-house team of experienced charity accountants who undertake regular training in order to keep up to date with the changes in SORP and FRS102.
